Forest Floor is a site specific installation of bright organic vessel forms popping up through the debris like mushrooms. As a group, they gesture toward the sunlight and feel alive. At times, their surroundings are mimicked or nestled. They clearly want to fit in, yet are not of the forest floor. They prompt the question: What is native and what is implanted? Understanding the history of a natural environment helps us decipher how its ecosystem was intended to work together.
